All text, course selections, historical round scores, electronic scorecards, and real-time shot logs that you input, upload, or transmit with Golf Caddie ("Submitted Content") will be securely processed to provide our services. Specifically regarding our AI Caddie feature: This feature strictly requires your prior consent to process and share your data. When you activate the AI Caddie, your real-time on-course location and game data are securely shared via encrypted APIs with our designated third-party AI infrastructure providers to analyze your shot strategy and generate personalized club and target recommendations (such as Expected Score and Strokes Gained). While you may choose to skip or decline this activation, the AI Caddie feature will remain unavailable to you until explicit consent is provided. The results generated from your Submitted Content ("Output", including AI Caddie Insights and post-round summaries) will be returned to us, stored securely on our servers, and delivered to your device for local access. We may process your Submitted Content and Output for purposes of enabling you to use the mobile application, monitoring for and preventing abusive or harmful use of our Services, or for training and analytics purposes. |

Your precise or general location. To provide the core functionalities of Golf Caddie, including identifying your current golf course and hole, calculating yardages, tracking shots, and rendering real-time strategy maps, we require access to your device's precise geographic location (GPS) data. This permission is prompted on your first launch or when starting a round. If GPS permission is disabled, you can manually select your course, but automated live yardage tracking will be unavailable. We also process general (non-precise) location data derived from technical data (e.g., network type) for load balancing and security services. "Ball Here" event data. When you use the "Ball Here" feature, we automatically collect and save server-side the following data: precise GPS coordinates, timestamps, course and hole identifiers, session and user identifiers, and distance from the hole. This data is used for product improvement purposes and may be used for AI analysis. "Ball Here" event data is irreversibly anonymized once you have been inactive for 12 months. |
